Joseph is a serial entrepreneur who has founded and exited two educational technology companies. Joseph has worked with behavioral research scientists productizing technology-based research solutions for patient behavioral change, like HIV drug adherence, health literacy, and addiction. In 2013, he co-founded Cognotion — a company solving the talent shortage of healthcare workers. In 2020, Joseph founded Bellage with James Firman, the former CEO of the National Council on Aging, helping to empower older adults to make healthy choices. He has spoken at TedMed, Lake Nona, and JP Morgan Healthcare. He is a mentor at New York University, Wharton, Cornell, Techstars, and is a Columbia University Fellow. Joseph sits on the board of many LGBTQ organizations including The Sam and Devorah Foundation for Transgender Youth, Superbia Credit Union, and the board of Stonewall Community Development Corporation.
Gerard is a veteran product leader and technologist with more than ten years of experience powering the “brains” of health tech and e-learning solutions. He has applied his machine-learning expertise across the healthcare space — from infectious disease intervention, front-line worker training to impacting behavior change in hard-to-reach populations. Gerry and his co-founder, Joseph Schneier, also built companies in the educational technology space including Cognotion — a company solving the talent shortage of healthcare workers.
At Circle, Gerard brings his many years of data science and artificial intelligence knowledge to his role as Chief Technology Officer. Gerard takes a hands-on approach to building transformative products, with a focus on analyzing healthcare costs and bringing those insights to both healthcare professionals and their customers.
Christy is a determined and results-oriented operations executive with over 20 years of experience steering organizational success through relentless determination, enduring optimism, and principled leadership. She is known for her ability to promote collaboration and implement continuous process improvement strategies that significantly boost operational efficiency.
Christy has been involved in almost every aspect of insurance sales — from sales and marketing, to product development, to customer relations. Most recently, Christy served as Executive Vice President of Shared Services for one of the nation’s largest field marketing organizations, Senior Market Advisors (SMA), partnering with Medicare carriers and agencies to serve older adults. Christy has also lead many volunteer initiatives, working directly with Kings Kids Africa, Hands On Nashville, and the Care Cabinet.
